Landmark!

I started writing my dissertation! Thought I should record this "landmark." Took me about 3 weeks to write the first chapter, which provides a quick overview about the history of Singapore. *Sigh* I can foresee that writing the more complicated later chapters is going to be a MAJOR PAINFUL and AWFULLY SLOW process. I'm not kidding when I say I'm a very slow writer because I take forever to formulate my sentences. Why do I voluntarily torture myself like this?
Chapter 1 is sent to my committee!
At least I've began the last quarter section of the graduate school marathon. Yeah!
